One-stop info source for protecting the 2026 election. This page will be updated periodically until January 3 2027.

First Things First

1. Check your voter registration. New Mexico is a decent state, and does not purge voter rolls without due process … but all the same, please check. If your registration doesn’t show up, YOU CAN STILL VOTE! Come by any polling center and ask to do a SAME-DAY REGISTRATION. You will need photo ID and proof of residency. If your driver license includes your current address, that’s all you need. Otherwise, bring a utility bill or paycheck or bank statement.

2. Make your plan to vote early and bring your friends. There are so many reasons to do so, and this year it’s especially important. See the County Clerk web page for Early Voting dates and locations.

3. Be connected to the communication network and have a plan for what sustained civic uprising looks like in response to federal bad behavior. Join us at our next meetings to be part of the concerned community.

The No Kings rally was a resounding success! Drone analysis shows 667 (± 12) people, a new record for Los Alamos! Thank you to everyone who attended, organized, and made it all possible.

The Los Alamos Reporter and Los Alamos Daily Post covered the event, with great photos and reporting. Thank you, Maire and Carol! (Update, late Sunday night: LADP posted more scenes).
