About Indivisible Los Alamos
Indivisible Los Alamos was created in February 2025. Since then:
Protests
We hosted two No Kings protests and a Labor Day protest, with about 860 protesters across the three events. No Kings 3, coming soon on March 28, will be even bigger!
Coalition Building
We hosted 14 open community organizing meetings in 2025, with 44 unique attendees. Each meeting includes art for democracy, suggestions for coordinated actions at local, state, and national levels, and joy in resistance.
We hosted three sign making parties and four group watch parties for the One Million Rising initiative; participating in the goal to train one million Americans in the art of nonviolent resistance to authoritarianism. We printed 200 yard signs now displayed across Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque.
We’ve organized working groups to support writing public comments on Federal rules, researched progressive groups in order to make efficient use of our money to support democracy and progressive causes, and supported a winter coat drive.
What’s Next?
Our Spring 2026 organizing meetings are held 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 6pm in the art room at the Unitarian Church, 1738 N Sage Loop. Contact us for more information.
